Positive: The room decoration was fantastic. The lobby and facilities were great. The breakfast was good value and had a wide variety of food. Chinese people seem to still smoke a lot so ask for a non smoking room! The gym area was large and much appreciated.

Negative: The lobby was on the 55th floor and was a bit of a pain to return to everytime if you wanted to go down to the ground floor. The large window in the bathroom which had a curtain, if you had to use the bathroom at night time it was impossible to not disturb your partner when you turned the light on! The room was really cold. You couldn't do anything to change the air con. It was the coldest hotel we stayed in. They did offer a seperate electric heater which can fix this. However the bathroom had underfloor heating which was nice. There was a poorly designed shelf in the room above the kettle area which my wife hit her head on twice. It must be a problem because there's a big sticker on there saying watch your head!
