Positive: We stayed at Gamagara for two nights in December and had a wonderful experience. The staff and service were exceptional, and we enjoyed all our meals at the restaurant. We went on one of their game drives and saw a good variety of animals; although we only spotted the white rhino the following day as we were leaving, it still felt special. The bed was very comfortable, complete with a mosquito net and great pillows. Don’t let the 12 km bumpy road put you off — it’s absolutely worth it.
