Welcome to Vegas Meadow, a newly built architect-designed countryside home – created for calm and peaceful days together. You stay just a stone’s throw from Lake Lången, surrounded by nature, in a modern and well-equipped home where comfort and understated luxury meet rural idyll.
The house is privately located, surrounded by the Småland landscape of forests and meadows, with close access to swimming and fishing. Both Värnamo and Växjö are within easy reach. This is a place for relaxation, togetherness, shared meals, sauna sessions, and for children to move around freely – without traffic or nearby neighbors.
A modern home for socializing and relaxation
The layout is generous and thoughtfully designed, with large social areas where light, space and connection to nature define the house (see floor plan among the images). Bedrooms and bathrooms are designed to provide comfort even when several people are staying together.
The heart of the house is the large open-plan living area, where kitchen, dining space and living room are aligned facing the lake. The continuous space stretches over 14 meters and ends with a large, beautiful window section with double doors and views of Lake Lången. The ceiling is clad in white wooden panels throughout and opens up to the ridge in the living room, creating a sense of volume and exceptional natural light.
Large windows bring nature into every part of the house and offer views of the lake and surrounding landscape. The material choices are light, warm and durable – suited both for holiday living and an active family lifestyle.
After a walk in the forest or time spent on the lake, everyone naturally gathers back at the house; some may head to the sauna, others prepare dinner in the kitchen while a few sit by the kitchen island keeping them company. When dinner is over, the evening continues on the sofas – perhaps with a board game and something nice to drink, as the long, bright summer evening slowly turns into dusk over the lake.
The house comfortably accommodates two families or a larger group who wish to stay together in comfort. Upstairs there is a spacious room with sloping ceilings that can be furnished with up to four beds – for example one double bed and two single beds, or four single beds.
Sauna, lake and outdoor environment
One of the highlights of the house is the sauna with views of the lake. Here you can unwind after a day outdoors – all year round. A boat and fishing equipment are available for rent at cost price, within walking distance from the house. Go fishing, explore nearby islands where you can cook your catch over an open fire, or pack a picnic and head out onto the lake.
For a morning or evening swim, the jetty is about a five-minute walk from the house. If you prefer a beach entry, there is a small swimming spot approximately fifteen minutes away on foot.
The large plot (approx. 5,600 m²) offers plenty of space for play, barbecues and relaxation. There is no through traffic and ample space around the house. The house has two large terraces – one facing west for evening sun and one covered terrace with views of the lake. Both are equipped with dining tables and seating. There is also lounge furniture in the garden.

The house was completed in summer 2025, and we will continue finishing the final details during spring. More photos, including the outdoor areas and the upstairs room, will be added continuously during the spring. When rentals begin, the house will be fully completed and ready to welcome guests.
