Positive: owner and everyone that works there are really kind and friendly. had a great chat and they gave me some pretty good recommendations. lovely view from the rooftop, relatively quiet street side but you may need earplugs and eye mask due to the street lights. Breakfast was a choice, pancakes, toast and eggs etc. + a lovely array of fruit to finish up. The building is 100yrs old, so dont expect something its not. I know some folk will complain about the shower being in the bathroom with the toilet (all open i.e no screen), but this isnt unusual throughout Asia. Its not a big deal, you're in a foreign country and that's how it is in older buildings. Personally it doesn't bother me. Area is close enough to everything in the area and its pretty quiet. Minutes walk to the square.

Negative: my only suggestion is to have blackout curtains on those rooms which are street side. and to fix the buzzer at the front door.

Summary: Owners and staff are really lovely, great view from the rooftop. loved it and ill be back!!
