The house is situated in a picturesque location in Västergötland, in Örsås, 14 km from Svenljunga. It is situated in a very quiet street. On one side the forest begins, on the other side there is a large open field. If you are lucky, you might see a moose right outside the front door.
The idyllically situated holiday home is a very well-kept ground-floor bungalow and offers enough space for up to six people. With a living space of approx. 100 m², it is situated on a large natural plot of approx. 1,650 m². The holiday home has a large living room with a wood-burning stove (which can be used to heat the entire holiday home), a large dining room with an open-plan kitchen, two bedrooms with large double beds (1.8 x 2.0 m), a children's room with bunk beds (0.9 x 1.9 m; due to the height, the lower bed is more suitable for children). The living room also has a TV with Swedish and German (HD) channels, Bluray player (also suitable for DVD and audio CD) and home cinema system for your entertainment. The kitchen is more than fully equipped with an electric cooker with ceramic hob and fan oven, extractor bonnet, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo coffee pod machine, toaster, tea maker, kettle, egg boiler, waffle iron and, as a piece of jewellery, an old cooker with enamel panelling. The dining area has a table with six chairs and a highchair (Tripp Trapp). There is also a cosy conservatory and a bathroom with shower and WC.
Adjacent to the conservatory is a wind-protected wooden terrace with seating and a Weber barbecue, which offers a magnificent view and is located on the south-west side. There is also a sunbathing lawn and a sandpit on the property. There are two parking spaces for your cars on the street.
The water is pumped directly from a well approx. 50 metres deep and is of drinking water quality. Special facilities include a sauna (infrared cabin). Energy costs are charged according to consumption. A washing machine, tumble dryer and internet (fibre optic) also ensure a comfortable stay. The house is heated by an air heat pump, wood-burning stove and electric heaters. Thanks to the good insulation, the house is also winter-proof. Due to the steps to the entrance and the conservatory, the house is not barrier-free. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this holiday home and smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house.
There are only a few neighbours in the surrounding area. There is absolute peace and quiet here and you can relax wonderfully. In autumn there are plenty of mushrooms and berries, some of which are already on the property. Fishing enthusiasts will find numerous fishing opportunities in the immediate vicinity. There are also many beautiful lakes for swimming or boating. Various hiking trails start from the house and lead into the beautiful, extensive countryside.
Borås is the next largest city, 48 km away, and Gothenburg is 102 km away. If you are travelling by plane, Landvetter Airport is just an hour's drive away (89 km). Shopping facilities, restaurants, cinema, a library and much more can be found directly in Svenljunga or in nearby Tranemo (21 km). Other towns in the area are Borås (approx. 42 km) or even Gothenburg (approx. 100 km), Sweden's second largest city after Stockholm.
The surroundings of Svenljunga invite you to explore the near and far surroundings. Enjoy the vastness of nature, for example on hikes, boat trips and cycle tours. Or visit well-known and as yet undiscovered places and sights. You will find a zoo or an elk park in the area, as well as museums and leisure parks.
