Summary: Well the young lady at check in was great! Super friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and nicely cleaned in general. Unfortunately the next morning before I checked out I was greeted by a roach in the room. If I had seen it prior to me staying, I would have absolutely left because I would not have wanted to risk any of its friends getting into my stuff. Don’t get me wrong, the room was nicely cleaned, but unfortunately, in a place like that when you have a bunch of people in and out, and unfortunately, some people that has taken up residency, that kind of stuff happens. Also, at check-in, it was not clarified that the hold that they were taking for deposit would be an actual transaction and that I would have to wait for a refund. I’m used to hotels just putting a hold for the deposit not actually taking my money and then have to wait a week for them to refund it back. When I called to ask about the release of my hold the gentleman at the desk at that time told me that it was an actual transaction. I had to wait for a refund and he was kind of rude about it when I told him that that should’ve been clarified and that I was gonna put that in the review so that people would know. He was so nonchalant about it. I wish it had been the same lady that checked me in because she was definitely nicer.
