The space:
Beautiful, spacious apartment with high ceilings and wooden floors, in a charming, safe and secure apartment block in Sea Point.
Comfortable and colourful lounge area, in between a sunny study area on one side and a spacious dining area on the other, leading to a fully equipped kitchen.
One spacious bedroom with comfortable bed and built in cupboards.
One full bathroom with shower over bath.
Sunny balcony from where you can enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a good book.
Parking - there is no off street allocated parking bay, but there is on street parking just in front of the apartment block, available on a first come first serve basis.
There is currently no DSTV in the apartment. There is a TV, but it is not tuned and only used to watch DVDs.
The apartment is equipped with a small inverter to ensure that the WiFi router, lights and electrical outlets have electricity during load-shedding. The inverter is capable of lasting the duration of load-shedding but is dependant on the appliances used as the battery can only store a limited amount of electricity.
Please note: the apartment is close to a main road: at times traffic can be heard from the apartment. Cape Town is also a buzzing city, so at times there may be construction in the area in working hours only.
Guest access:
The apartment is on the 1st floor of a secure apartment block (no lift). - You have to walk up two stairs)
Guests will be given their own set of keys and have the apartment to themselves.
Other things to note:
We try do our bit to look after the environment - there is a recycling bin if you could please try recycle as much as possible, and we aim to use environmentally friendly products where possible.
Please also be aware of electricity and water usage during your stay :-)
A cot can be arranged at an additional cost for children younger than 2yrs if required.
For stays longer than a week, a courtesy weekly or mid-stay clean is offered. We can arrange additional cleaning or laundry services upon request and at an additional cost, if required.
Linen, towels, tea, coffee, sugar are provided.
